Homeostasis is an aerial sculpture & performance piece fusing the visual design of Shibari with contemporary aerial arts. The apparatus is a large-scale visual interpretation of the human nervous system, constructed entirely with rope. This tree-like apparatus becomes an elaborate structure for 2 aerial performers exploring dysregulation and resilience on personal and societal levels.

How do art & movement help us to heal? Seen through the lens of aerial, circus, and dance arts. Elemental Aerial Arts will weave together an evening of aerial and circus performance through a captivating story of humanity's response to stress and struggle. Why do these emotions seem so negative? Have they come as guides to teach us something about ourselves? Can we find physically based techniques to embrace our emotions, & blossom into spring? Will these new guides help us find new growth? Join us on November 21 to experience this journey through aerial and dance.

In collaboration with Elemental Aerial Arts, Selah Dance Collective will weave their signature personality, dynamic style, and technical versatility into the work by Katelyn Carano for Elemental Aerial Arts.
